Bright Eyes & Neva Dinova - One Jug of Wine, Two Vessles

In the fall of 2003 Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst and Jake Bellows of Neva Dinova finally collaborated after six years of appreciation of each others music. The EP, One Jug of Wine, Two Vessels featured six brand new songs performed by musicians from both bands. The pair split the songwriting duties, and the tracks were recorded by Conor Oberst and Jake Bellows in the basements of houses in Omaha, NE.

Almost seven years later the Omaha natives are going a step further then a straight reissue. In the fall of 2009 they reconvened and wrote and recorded four new tracks to be included on the reissue. The songs, Rollerskating, Happy Accident, Someone’s Love, and I Know You will make up the first four tracks from the now full-length LP.

Spring Cleaning is one of my favorites from the original album, check it out below.

The reissue will be released March 23rd via Saddle Creek Records. You can pre-order it on Amazon.
