Foals - Total Life Forever

Fans who’ve been searching the internet for more information on Foals’ highly anticipated new album Total Life Forever have been greeted with a mysterious result.

The link – www.totallifeforever.co.uk – delivers an image distorted by three concentric shapes, all of which can be moved with the click of a mouse. When the shapes are arranged into the correct order and the image is completed, the viewer is greeted with a snippet of lyrics and instrumentation from one of the new songs appearing on the album.

The viewer was then presented with another image which, when completed, unveiled another new song. A new album track was added to the site each day until a preview of each song was available. I found it was easier to work from the outside in, and I really appreciate this inventive way of providing album info.

The new album is slated to be released in the UK (Transgressive) and US (Sub Pop) on May 10, 2010.
